How we do it: Technology

Our services are based on applied remote sensing from the (temporal sequence of multispectral satellite image, available in real time, as well as sensors on board a UAV or lightweight flight.

From each image, we obtain, on the one hand, the color combination which reveals uniformity in crop growth and on the other hand, the NDVI parameter, which is an indicator of the photosynthetic activity of vegetation.

Access to all this information relevant to your plots is made available by SPIDERwebGIS® through an internet connection.

The technology used and the scientific knowledge which support the images and their products are backed by the Remote Sensing and GIS section at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, leading research group in the use of remote sensing for crop management.
